Rust College Rust College has developed a health literacy program titled Families First Resource Center. This health literacy initiative is designed to operate on three levels. Level one offers health fairs, health conferences and health screenings to local community residents. Level two will coordinate activities of local health professionals and Rust College students who are interested in a career in the health services field. Students will be assigned to an identified health professional in their area of interest. The Rust College students willshadow these professionals as they conduct medical education workshops. Workshop topics are to be based on demographic characteristics of the population served. Level three allows the students to make presentations within the community in churches and through civic organizations.
