Competitive Community Health Pilot Program

The Mississippi Institute for the Improvement of Geographic Minority Health established the Competitive

Program (CRGP) to encourage and supports innovative ideas that can lead to fundamental breakthroughs in health and health care

delivery in rural areas. The program is designed to stimulate innovation in the development of community-based health services by

supporting a community health project that addresses at least one of the health issues or health indicators included in the Institute’s area

of focus.
